Calling independent makers and small businesses: The Northern Edit is coming back to Abingdon Street Market

Independent businesses are at the heart of what we do at Abingdon Street Market, so we’re delighted to welcome The Northern Edit Makers Market back to Blackpool.

Taking place at Abingdon Street Market, The Northern Edit brings together a carefully selected collection of independent makers, creatives and small businesses, giving visitors the opportunity to discover something different from the high street and shop directly from the people who make, design and create the products they sell.

For independent businesses, markets like The Northern Edit offer more than just a space to sell. They’re an opportunity to meet new customers, build awareness of your brand, make connections with other local businesses and introduce your products to people who may not have discovered you otherwise.

The Northern Edit has already brought a fantastic mix of independent businesses to Abingdon Street Market, with previous markets featuring more than 20 curated food, craft and creative stalls from across the region.

The next market takes place on Sunday 25th October, from 10am to 5pm, giving shoppers a full day to browse the stalls, discover new businesses and enjoy everything else Abingdon Street Market has to offer.

As Blackpool’s only food hall and indoor market, Abingdon Street Market is already home to more than 20 independent businesses, alongside six street food traders, two bars, a coffee shop and 12 independent retail units. The Northern Edit adds another layer to that independent community, bringing even more makers and creatives into the market.

Spaces are limited and businesses are encouraged to sign up early to secure a place.
